Chelsea star rejects Real Madrid deal

Chelsea forward Eden Hazard has rejected claims he already has a deal to join Real Madrid at the end of the season.

Hazard was voted PFA Player of the Year last season after leading Chelsea to the Premier League title but the Belgium international has struggled to reach similar heights this season and has been linked with a move away as a result.

Zinedine Zidane is a long-term admirer of Hazard and naturally it has seen the Chelsea No.10 linked with a big-money move to the Bernebau in the summer, although Hazard has moved to reject a deal has already been agreed.

“I haven’t signed for Real Madrid. Those rumours are not true. I’m still a Chelsea player,” Hazard told HLN, via 101 Great Goals.

“I don’t know who’s saying that, but it’s not true. At the moment I’m at Chelsea. First, I have to finish the season and I still have a contract for four years.

“I’m there, and I’m currently feeling good over there. I want to be on the pitch as soon as possible with Chelsea.”

Hazard hasn’t scored a league goal since May (vs Crystal Palace) and is now without a league strike in 2,100 minutes.
