Paul Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola has confirmed Real Madrid have begun talks with Juventus for the transfer of the Frenchman this summer.
The France international has been heavily linked with a move away from Juventus this summer with Real Madrid and Manchester United leading the chase for his signature.
Pogba reportedly favours a move to Madrid rather than a return to Old Trafford and Zinedine Zidane’s side have put the wheels in motion about a potential deal, although Raiola says it could cost them up to €140m (£108.6m).
“We are in the preliminary phase of negotiations,” Raiola told Spanish newspaper Marca, via ESPN. “Pogba admires Real Madrid and [head coach] Zinedine Zidane and this is going to be very important in his decisions.”
“[He would cost] €120m (£93m) or €140m. He is worth whatever a club are willing to pay for him.”
French fans are still waiting for Pogba to make a statement at Euro 2016 with a big performance, although he did finish as the WhoScored Man of the Match in their 0-0 draw against Switzerland on Sunday night. He finished last season as the highest rated player in Serie A (7.81).

Wow, these transfer prices are unbelievable. How does Real Madrid continue to go into such debt. They were already 600m euros in debt last Summer.
