Everton plot move for Leicester winger

Everton are keen on signing Leicester City winger Demarai Gary this summer, reports Sky Sports News.

Gray moved to Leicester 18 months ago from Birmingham City and was part of the squad that won the Premier League title under Claudio Ranieri.

However, the 21-year-old has struggled to consolidate a regular starting spot following his arrival from the Midlands outfit.

Gray made 30 top-flight appearances for Leicester last season, but just nine of those were starts for the Foxes, who finished 12th last season.

The young wideman is believed to have become disillusioned with life at the King Power Stadium having failed to attain regular game time and is considering a move away from the former champions.

The Toffees are still keen on strengthening this summer, despite a number of new arrivals, with director of football Steve Walsh familiar with Gray having signed him for Leicester in January 2016.

Everton have been busy in the transfer market, securing the services of Micheal Keane, Jordan Pickford, Davy Klaassen, Henry Onyekuru and Sandro Ramirez this summer.
