Manchester United eye move for unhappy Chelsea forward
Willian will force through a move away from Chelsea if Antonio Conte remains at the club and Manchester United are interested, reports Sky Sports.
The Brazil international’s relationship with Conte is poor and the winger appeared to take a swipe at the Italian in Chelsea’s FA Cup celebrations.
Jose Mourinho is keen to reunite with Willian at Old Trafford and it has been reported the United manager is willing to use Anthony Martial as a makeweight.
Willian has previously cooled suggestions of a reunion with Mourinho but it could be on the cards if Conte remains in charge of Chelsea next season.
Conte offered Chelsea an ultimatum in the wake of Saturday’s win over United but is widely expected to leave the club this summer after two years in charge.
Willian was voted the club’s players’ player of the season this season despite failing to completely win over Conte.
The 29-year-old only started 20 league games this season and made a further 16 appearances from the bench.
Despite a lack of regular playing time, the Brazilian played a direct hand in 13 goals and won the WhoScored Man of the Match award on four occasions.
