Manchester United prepared to sell young forward

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has no intention on blooding Adnan Januzaj back in the first-team and will look to sell the versatile forward in the summer, reports The Daily Mail.

Januzaj, 22, has spent the season on loan at Premier League strugglers Sunderland but has struggled to kick on from the early promise he showed when he broke into the United first team in 2013.

Mourinho revealed earlier this month that he had made a decision on Januzaj’s future but refused to disclose what that decision was, but the Belgium international will only have 12 months remaining on his existing deal in the summer and United will look to cash-in on his talent at the end of the season.

Januzaj has featured 21 times for Sunderland in the Premier League this season, that after a failed loan spell with Borussia Dortmund last season, and has failed to find the back of the net for the Black Cats, although has registered three assists.

In fact, only five players in the Premier League have attempted more shots without scoring a single goal than Januzaj this season (24).
