Chelsea are weighing up a move for Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Blaise Matuidi as a replacement for Ramires, according to L’Equipe.
The reigning Premier League champions sold Ramires to China for £25m to Chinese Super League side Jiangsu Suning and will now reportedly look to use that money to fund a move for PSG box-to-box midfielder Matuidi.
Matuidi, 28, has been a first-team regular for PSG since arriving from Saint-Etienne in 2011 and he certainly as all the attributes to fill the void left by Ramires.
The France international has already registered as many assists in 23 league appearances this season than he had managed in his previous 135 matches combined (5).
