Arsenal could approach Monaco manager Leonardo Jardim as a potential replacement for Arsene Wenger, reports French publication Telefoot.
Wenger is yet to decide on whether to leave the Emirates at the end of the season and it had been thought that Max Allegri was the frontrunner to succeed the Frenchman in north London.
However, with his Juventus side securing one foot in the Champions League final with a 2-0 win in Monaco last week, Arsenal would find it easier said than done to coax Allegri away from Turin.
The Gunners, then, have since turned their attention to Jardim, who has worked wonders for the French side this term.
Monaco currently top Ligue 1 by three points and have a game in hand over second-placed PSG, with Jardim’s side expected to secure their first top-flight title since the 1999/2000 season.
Having excelled with a young crop of players, Arsenal are now hoping that Jardim can return the north London side to the Premier League’s summit.
