Manchester United are rueing their failure to insert a sell-on clause in Michael Keane’s transfer to Burnley, reports The Sun.
Keane, 23, left United for Burnley in a deal worth £2.5m deal in 2015 but his impressive performances this season have seen the defender linked with a £25m move to Chelsea in January.
The 23-year-old centre-back earned his first ever call-up to the England senior squad earlier this week and United will miss out on any big money move after failing to include a sell-on clause when he left the club.
Only Phil Jagielka (44) has completed more headed clearances than Keane (43) in the Premier League this season.

United are managed by silly coaches who are bankrolled under the table by players' agents, so what is point for them to have academy player in first team instead of big money flop from friendly agent?
