Manchester United have stepped up their interest in Porto winger Yacine Brahimi, according to Portugal newspaper Record.
Louis van Gaal is looking to add pace to the flanks when the January transfer window opens and Brahimi has been earmarked as his main target.
United have already sent scouts to watch the Algeria international and they would have been impressed by his Champions League performances.
In fact, no player is completing more dribbles per game in Europe’s premier competition than the Porto ace so far this season (8.7 per game).

I this transfer makes sense. We'd have to hope Porto don't charge a fortune but I think he would improve our chance creation and dynamism/pace on the break. He's also LVG type of player because he doesn't lose the ball often, and can play lw, rw or cam, so he's "multifunctional."
