PSG turn attention to Leicester star

PSG will turn their attention to Leicester midfielder Wilfred Ndidi in their bid to strengthen their squad this summer, reports ESPN.

Atletico Madrid ace Thomas Partey and France international Tiemoue Bakayoko are also options for the Parisian side as they look to improve their midfield in the off-season, but Ndidi is believed to be their priority.

Prior to the Coronavirus pandemic, Ndidi was in excellent form for the Foxes, playing a key part in their push for a Champions League finish.

The 23-year-old has gone from strength to strength following Brendan Rodgers' appointment at the King Power Stadium helm and his performances have attracted interest from some of Europe's top sides.

Ndidi last week insisted he is happy with Leicester amidst rumours of Arsenal's interest in the Nigeria international, yet that is unlikely to deter PSG from making a move for the youngster.

PSG have invested heavily in midfield in recent transfer windows, bringing in Idrissa Gueye and Leandro Paredes from Everton and Zenit, respectively, over the last 18 months.

However, PSG are on the lookout for a designated holding midfielder and Ndidi is now thought to be their priority.
