Juventus holding out €100m for PSG target

PSG have made an €70m bid for Juventus midfielder Miralem Pjanic, but the Serie A champions are holding out for €100m for the Bosnian, reports Corriere dello Sport.

29-year-old Pjanic continues to shine for the Old Lady and provided the assist for Cristiano Ronaldo’s equaliser in Juventus’ 1-1 draw at Inter on Saturday night.

With two goals and six assists to his name in Serie A this season, Pjanic has landed a commendable WhoScored rating of 7.09 this term.

However, having spent his last eight years in Italy, Pjanic may hope for a return France, where he impressed with Lyon prior to his move to Roma in 2011.

PSG are looking to bolster their squad after again exiting the Champions League at the last-16 stage, this time at the hands of Manchester United.

Despite their domestic success, with PSG landing the Ligue 1 title last week, a summer revamp is on the cards, with Pjanic one of a number of players linked with a move to Paris.

This comes despite the arrival of Leandro Paredes from Zenit in January, but PSG boss Thomas Tuchel is eager to add another another creative midfielder to the squad to maximise the incredible attack at his disposal.
