PSG could shatter club-transfer record for new midfielder
Paris Saint-Germain could make a club-record €75m (£64m) bid for Wolfsburg midfielder Julian Draxler, according to German newspaper Bild, via Get French Football.
Draxler, 22, has already been vocal in his desire to leave the Bundesliga outfit this summer but the club had ruled out his departure.
However, that could be about to change before the transfer window shuts on Wednesday with his agent, Roger Wittman, reportedly in the French capital to get a deal over the line.
Wolfsburg are reportedly lining up Tottenham’s Heung Min-Son as his replacement should PSG complete a deal, which would shatter the £54m they spent on Edinson Cavan in 2013.
Since the start of last season no Wolfsburg player has gained a higher WhoScored rating than Draxler (min five appearances – 7.17).
