Borussia Dortmund vs Hertha Berlin - streaming live on Bet365
While only two teams separated Dortmund and Hertha in the table last season, in truth the gap between them in terms of quality was substantial. Pal Dardai’s charges enjoyed an excellent start to the previous campaign but their form nosedived dramatically, with 15 defeats over the course of the campaign. BVB’s disappointing season was blighted by too many draws by comparison, but their looking to exert more pressure on Bayern this time around under new manager Peter Bosz.
Both of these sides secured comfortable victories in game week one, keeping clean sheets in the process, but a shot out for either side seems unlikely on Saturday. Indeed, of the last 16 meetings in Dortmund between the two, the hosts have scored in every one while Hertha have only failed to score in two.

Roma vs Inter - match preview
The first truly big clash of the Serie A season, Roma host Inter under the tutelage of their former boss Luciano Spalletti. Neither side has spent as lavishly as the likes of Juventus or Milan in particular but both are still very much focused on securing a Champions League finish. Inter looked very impressive in opening day victory over Fiorentina, while Roma picked up a strong three points of their own, albeit in less convincing fashion at Atalanta.
This is another fixture that tends to see goals at both ends, and while the hosts will be slight favourites they have some defensive problems that could see the visitors get a result. Spalletti, after all, will know all about their opponents weaknesses, as well as their strengths.
Liverpool vs Arsenal - match preview
Continuing on the theme of goals, we come to the big game in the Premier League this week, as Liverpool host Arsenal with confidence restored. The Reds came through a difficult double header with Hoffenheim to qualify for the Champions League group stages, impressing on Wednesday night, while the Gunners suffered defeat at Stoke last time out in an all too predictable affair.
Wenger will, however, welcome Koscielny and Sanchez back this weekend, but Klopp is a master when it comes to getting the better of top-table rivals. He did so on both occasions when these sides met last season, with 11 goals over the two fixtures, and we could be in for a similar outcome at Anfield.

Monaco vs Marseille - match preview
As Monaco aim to defend the Ligue 1 title against the odds given PSG’s spending this summer, they’ll face their biggest test of the season up against Marseille in Sunday night’s derby. Garden’s side will once again be without Kylian Mbappe ahead of a protracted move to the capital, but their visitors could be missing Dimitri Payet and Clinton N’Jie in attack, with the latter having started the season in fine form.
Instead former Monaco man Valere Germain will lead the line for OM, but the home defence will know the threat that he carries all too well and should snuff it out. In the last five meetings between these sides in Monaco, Marseille have scored just once - a 93rd minute consolation from Michy Batshuayi in April of last year - and they might struggle to find a way through once more.

Real Madrid vs Valencia - streaming live on Bet365
While many have already written off the title race in La Liga as something of a one-horse race following Real Madrid’s double-head despatch of Barcelona in the Supercopa, Zidane’s men will face a test of their credentials on Sunday. Valencia may not be the force they once were but they’ve made some high profile moves this summer and always offer Los Blancos a difficult game.
Indeed, in the last 8 meetings between the sides the visitors this weekend have won two and drawn three, while the three defeats suffered in that time have all been by a single goal. Madrid will of course be favourites at home but expect both teams to score - as has been the case in each of said 8 meetings - with Ronaldo and Ramos both suspended for the hosts.
