Borussia Dortmund ace rules out Premier League switch

Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has seemingly ruled out a Premier League switch in the future after revealing English football has never interested him.

Manchester City and Arsenal have both been linked with moves for Aubameyang in the past but the Gabon international has previously only had eyes on playing for Real Madrid.

However, Aubameyang recently admitted he has no more dreams in football after failing to join the reigning European champions and the 28-year-old has put all but ruled out a potential move to the Premier League.

“I was never tempted by the Premier League,” he told Telefoot. “It’s simply a personal opinion.

“I’m very happy to have stayed at Dortmund because I realise that it’s my family. I feel very comfortable there and things have started well this season.”

Aubameyang has made a great start to the season and his early season form has helped Dortmund race into a five-point lead at the top of the Bundesliga.

In fact, only nemesis Robert Lewandowski has scored as many goals in the Bundesliga this season as Aubameyang (8 goals).
