Agent of Barcelona target visits Chelsea’s training ground

The agent of Ajax midfielder Riechedly Bazoer was at Chelsea’s training ground to discuss a summer transfer, according to The Daily Mirror.

Bazoer, 19, is one of the brightest prospects on the continent and has already admitted his desire to play for Barcelona in the future.

The Ajax midfielder has been given an extended run in the first-team this season and is contracted with the Dutch giants until 2020, although he isn’t expected to remain there much longer if he can continue to impress in the near future.

Barcelona had appeared at the front of the queue to sign the central midfielder, but it would now appear Chelsea have jumped to the front of the queue, with Manchester City also reported to be interested in his services.

The teenager has directly contributed to eight goals in the league this season (four goals + four assists), which ranks among the most prolific of the 31 teenagers to have turned out in the Eredivisie this season.
