Manchester United could move for Bayer Leverkusen centre-back Omer Toprak at the end of the season, reports German publication Kicker.
United are expected to strengthen at the back this summer after a thoroughly underwhelming campaign under Louis van Gaal.
While the defence has been solid, United require investment at the back with Toprak identified as a possible signing.
The Turkish centre-back has struggled with injuries this term, but has gained a respectable WhoScored rating of 7.22 in the Bundesliga.
