Bayern Munich are exploring the possibility of moving for Tottenham midfielder Eric Dier, reports the London Evening Standard.
Dier has been one of Spurs' most important players in the Premier League this season, impressing in the holding midfield role in their pursuit of the Premier League title.
His performances have not gone unnoticed, with the youngster earning his first England cap earlier this season, with Dier widely expected to start the Three Lions' first game at Euro 2016 against Russia.
Dier has since emerged as a surprise target for German champions Bayern Munich, with Xabi Alonso's contract expiring at the end of the season.
Despite his growing reputation, Bayern are unlikely to make a move for the 22-year-old this summer, but could launch a pursuit of the midfielder in the foreseeable future should he continue his notable rise to stardom.
His reading of the game is perhaps his most commendable asset, with Dier making 70 interceptions in the Premier League this season.
