Roma have confirmed the arrival of Barcelona youngster Carles Perez on loan for the remainder of the season.
The Serie A outfit have agreed a €1m loan fee and have an obligation to sign Perez for a further €11m (£9.3m) in the summer.
Perez broke into the Barcelona first-team at the start of the season and even scored on his full league debut for the club before registering a brace of assists in the next match.
The 21-year-old has, however, been forced to leave Barcelona as they Spanish side desperately try to raise money to fund signings.
Barcelona are in a mess finanically at the moment and have launched a firesale of some of their best youngsters in an attempt to try and get some new faces through the door before Friday.
Barcelona have first right of refusal on Perez if Roma decide to sell the youngster but Quique Setien's side do not have a buy-back clause.
Perez, who can play as the striker or on the right wing, played a direct hand in three goals in 10 league appearances for Barcelona this season (one goal, two assists).
