Eredivisie top goalscorer open to Premier League switch
AZ Alkmaar striker Vincent Janssen has revealed he would be open to moving to the Premier League this summer.
Janssen, 23, enjoyed a stunning campaign in the Dutch top-flight last season that has now forced him into Danny Blind’s Netherlands squad.
The Alkmaar striker has already been linked with a move to the Premier League and has now talked up a switch to England.
“I want to make a step, that is clear, but there is no white smoke just now,” Janssen told Fox Sports, via Football Orange. England? We will see. Maybe something will happen in the holidays. I will take my phone with me anyway.”
Janssen finished the season as the top goalscorer in Holland having sensationally netted 21 of his 27 league goals in 2016.
