Wilshere edges closer to Palace move

Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere is poised to join Crystal Palace on loan until the end of the season, according to The Sun.

Arsene Wenger made the surprising decision to make Wilshere available for loan and the England international has already reportedly received 22 worldwide offers.

However, the 24-year-old is currently leaning towards a move to Palace after holding positive talks with Alan Pardew. Remaining in London is also thought to be top on Wilshere’s priorities as he considers the effect it would have on his family.

Since August 2013, Wilshere has only started in 24.8% of Arsenal’s league matches, in which the Gunners have been more successful without him in the starting XI (59% win ratio).
