Bayern ace would command record fee

Premier League teams would need to break the league's transfer record in order to sign Robert Lewandowski, reports the Sun.

The Bayern Munich striker has been excellent form for his club this season, netting 17 league goals, a record bettered only by Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (18) in the Bundesliga.

His performances have attracted interest from a number of Premier League sides, with Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool all believed to be keen on securing the Pole.

However, they would have to fork out upwards of £75m in order to bring Lewandowski to England, breaking the current record of £59.7m set 18 months ago by Angel Di Maria following his switch to United.

They would face competition for his signature, though, with PSG believed to be interested in luring Lewandowski, 27, to Paris.

Laurent Blanc's side have earmarked the Poland international as a perfect replacement for Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who is rumoured to be leaving PSG at the end of the season.
