West Ham consider Felipe Anderson sale amid Napoli interest
West Ham will consider offers for Felipe Anderson this summer amid reports of a return to Serie A for the winger, claims The Daily Mirror.
After a promising first season at West Ham, things haven't gone to plan for Anderson in 2019/20 and he has even dropped out of favour under David Moyes.
The Hammers signed Anderson from Lazio in a £34M deal in the summer of 2018 in what was a then-club record deal.
Anderson scored nine goal and registered four assists in the 2018/19 Premier League campaign but hasn't managed to replicate that form in front of goal this term.
The 26-year-old has only managed one goal in 22 league appearances this season and is now being linked with a return to Serie A, with Napoli among his admirers.
With Moyes planning a serious overhaul of West Ham's current squad in the summer, Anderson could be sold to free up funds for the Scotsman.
West Ham would reportedly be willing to cash in on Anderson but only if they make a profit on their initial investment, with a £42M valuation quoted.
Napoli are on the market for a new winger with Jose Callejon set to leave the club when his contract expires this summer.
Since the beginning of last season, only three players have completed more dribbles in the Premier League than Anderson (138).
