Manchester United striker Lukaku fuels Juventus move

Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku has sensationally suggested he would like to join Juventus in the future.

Lukaku is in his second season at United after completing a shock £75m move from Everton in 2017.

The Belgium international has been of few successful transfers United have made under Jose Mourinho but he has now fuelled talk of leaving.

United are due to play Juventus next in the Champions League and the 25-year-old is full of praise for the Serie A giants.

“Why not? I hope it happens,” Lukaku told Gazzetta dello Sport when asked if he would move to Italy, via The Daily Mirror. “Juve have a great project in place and they just keep going.

“Every year they try to get stronger. Without doubt, Juve are one of the two-three best teams in Europe.

“They’ve got a great coach on the bench and extraordinary players in every area of the team.

“Cristiano Ronaldo stands out, but watch out for the others too. Paulo Dybala is already impressive and getting stronger, while I love Douglas Costa.

“He is an exceptional signing and his career shows he always makes the difference.”
