Liverpool are weighing up a move for out-of-favour Paris Saint-Germain creator Javier Pastore, according to France Football, via Get French Football.
Pastore, 26, has dropped down the pecking order at PSG this season following the high profile arrival of Angel di Maria last summer and has reportedly told his agent to consider offers at the end of the season.
Jurgen Klopp is expected to revamp his Liverpool squad in the summer and sent chief scout Kevin Hunt to watch the Argentina international during PSG’s comfortable 4-0 win over Rennes at the weekend.
PSG shattered the French transfer record when they shelled out €42m (£33.1m) to sign Pastore from Palermo in 2011 but Pastore has only started 10 league games this season.
Since August 2011, only three players have registered more assists in Ligue 1 than Pastore (33).
