Rashford frustrated at Manchester United

Marcus Rashford is growing increasingly frustrated by his bit-part role at Manchester United under Jose Mourinho, reports The Daily Mirror.

The 20-year-old has only started seven of United’s 17 matches in all competitions in 2018 and was allegedly upset at being left out of the starting XI in Saturday’s Manchester derby.

Alexis Sanchez’s arrival in January has impacted Rashford and Anthony Martial’s playing time at United and the former is reportedly growing increasingly disillusioned under Mourinho.

Rashford has established himself as one of the most exciting young talents in Europe since breaking onto the scene more than two years ago and would not be short of suitors if he looks to leave United.

The Red Devils have no interest in losing the England international and hope he will be a feature of the United team for years to come, but things may have to change under Mourinho to convince Rashford to stay.

Despite suggestions Mourinho has stalled Rashford’s development, the Portuguese has used the youngster more than any other player at United during his time at the club (96 appearances).
