West Brom have confirmed Nacer Chadli has left the club and joined French giants Monaco on a permanent deal.
Chadli has spent the last two years at West Brom but has been angling for a move away from the Hawthorns after Darren Moore’s side were relegated from Premier League last season.
The 29-year-old was part of the Belgium squad that finished third at the 2018 World Cup and impressed when called upon by Roberto Martinez.
With no offers forthcoming, it looked like Chadli would have to knuckle down in the Championship until January but Monaco have now completed a deal worth a reported £10m.
Monaco have now concluded their business for the summer with Chadli's arrival, which boosts the club's growing Belgian contingent.
In the Premier League, the Baggies had a better win ratio when Chadli featured (27.8%) compared to when he didn’t play (20%).
The problem, however, is that he was only able to play 36 times and missed 40 matches in two years.
