Chelsea are set to win the race to land highly rated Monaco midfielder Bernardo Silva, according to Tuttosport.
Silva, 21, only joined Monaco from Benfica last year but he is highly regarded across Europe and has been tipped for big things since setting the Euro Under-21 championship alight with Portugal over the summer.
Juventus and Inter have been linked with a move for the Monaco midfielder, but reports in Italy claim the midfielder’s performances have done enough to court interest from Chelsea, who are now frontrunners to land the £21m rated player.
Since the start of the season, no Monaco player has completed more dribbles in Ligue 1 than Silva (20).
