Real Madrid have made signing reported Manchester United target Eder Militao a top priority this month, claims Marca.
Militao has emerged as one of the most sought after defenders in Europe following his eye-catching maiden campaign with Porto.
The Liga NOS giants only paid €4m to sign Militao from Brazilian side Sao Paulo but they stand to make an enormous profit on the 20-year-old.
United have been heavily linked with a January move for Militao all season and reportedly had scouts watching the youngster on Monday.
Militao has a release clause of €50m (£44.9m) in his current Porto deal that will be active in the summer, but is reportedly available for just €42m (£37.8m) if signed this month.
Porto made the arrival of former Real Madrid defender Pepe official on Tuesday, which paves the way for Militao to leave this month.
Militao has scored one goal in 13 league appearances for Porto this season and has a stunning WhoScored rating of 7.46, earning a place in the WhoScored Team of the Season in Liga NOS as things stand.
