Besiktas have put a £20m valuation on the head of former Arsenal midfielder Oguzhan Ozyakup amid interest from Roma, reports Turkish outlet Fanatik.
Roma have registered an interest in the 24-year-old but have shelved their interest until the end of the season after being told Besiktas want to concentrate on securing a league and Europa League double.
Ozyakup has spent the last five years at Besiktas after failing to make the grade at Arsenal and has since established himself as one of the club’s best players in the last few seasons.
Besiktas would be reluctant to lose one of their star players but realise there is money to be made from the Turkey international and would look to strike a deal in excess of £20m for his signature, with Roma the front runners.
In the last three Turkish Super Lig campaigns only five players have registered more assists than Ozyakup (16).
