Lyon are in talks with Chelsea to sign Bertrand Traore but the Premier League champions will not entertain any offers south of €20m (£17.4m), reports RMC, via Get French Football.
The French giants are looking to bolster their offensive options this summer as they brace themselves for Alexandre Lacazette’s impending departure and have already been heavily linked with a move for Bayer Leverkusen striker Javier Hernandez.
Lyon are expected to fetch in excess of £40m for Lacazette this summer and that would allow Bruno Genesio’s side to significantly bolster his strikeforce with a move for Traore now also being mooted.
The 21-year-old has spent the season on loan with Ajax and impressed in patches during their Europa League final defeat to Manchester United last week.
Traore weighed in with nine goals from 24 appearances in the league for Ajax, while only Amin Younes (7.71) secured a higher rating in the Europa League of Ajax players than the Chelsea loan star (7.56).
