Liverpool identify Napoli forward as potential Coutinho replacement
Liverpool have already earmarked Napoli forward Lorenzo Insigne as a potential replacement should they fail to keep hold of Philippe Coutinho, reports Mediaset Premium, via Football Italia.
Coutinho, 25, has been in sensational form for Liverpool this season and his performances have seen him linked with a big money move to Barcelona.
Jurgen Klopp’s side will be desperate to keep Coutinho but they will know sometimes clubs can be powerless when the European elite come calling, particularly the likes of Barcelona and Real Madrid.
As a result Liverpool have reportedly already begun scouting potential replacements and Napoli winger Insigne is understood to be on their radar.
Insigne, 25, has stagnated this year but is unplayable when he is at his best and will reportedly set Liverpool back £25m. Despite not playing at his best, Insigne has still registered four assists in Serie A this season, which no player can better.
