Everton plot audacious move for Juventus striker

Everton have sounded out a potential deal for Juventus striker Moise Kean, claims Gianluca Di Marzio.

Marco Silva wants to bolster his offensive options this summer after failing to nail down his first choice striker last season.

Cenk Tosun, Richarlison and Dominic Calvert-Lewin all shared the responsibility of being Everton’s striker in 2018/19 but none of them made the position their own.

Everton have now identified Juventus starlet Kean as a potential transfer target this summer, though it remains to be seen whether the Old Lady are open to offers.

Kean, who will compete at the U21 European Championships this summer with Italy, is highly rated and Juventus may only let him leave on loan.

The 19-year-old scored six goals in 13 league appearances for Juventus last season and no decision on his future is expected until the Serie A champions appoint a new manager.

Massimiliano Allegri left Juventus at the end of last season and the Italian giants are expected to prise Maurizio Sarri away from Chelsea, though negotiations with the Premier League outfit have proved difficult.

Kean finished the 2018/19 campaign with the best minutes per goal ratio in Serie A (one every 89.2 minutes of action).
