Watford have announced Heurelho Gomes has put pen to paper on improved terms until 2018.
Gomes, 35, has been one of Watford’s star performers since his arrival from Tottenham in 2014.
The ex-Brazil international was named Watford’s player of the season and their players’ player of the season last term and is now set to be their No.1 for the next two campaigns.
Gomes made more saves than any other goalkeeper in the Premier League last season (121) and he was also named in the WhoScored Team of the Season.
