Carlo Ancelotti is hoping to convince Kyle Walker to switch London for the Bundesliga and reject the attentions of Manchester City, The Express reports.
Bayern Munich have been trailing the Tottenham man for some time as they seek a long-term replacement to Philipp Lahm, who has retired from football this summer.
Manchester City had emerged as favourites for the right-back's signature, with a £45m deal having been reported, but the Bundesliga champions are reportedly willing to match Walker's demands of £150,000 a week.
City's interest in Dani Alves may well open the door for the England international to trade the Premier League for Germany's top-flight.
The 27-year-old registered 5 assists in the league last season, which was a record in his career thus far, with his defensive improvements earning Walker recognition across the continent.
Having reportedly fallen out with Mauricio Pochettino at the tail end of last season, a move away from Spurs has seemed on the cards for some time now. The progress of Kieran Trippier in the capital could ultimately convince Tottenham to cash in.
