Manchester United to receive £32m offer for out of favour star
AC Milan are ready to spend big on Ander Herrera in the summer to offer the Spaniard regular first team football away from Manchester United, according to The Express.
The report suggests that the free-spending Serie A outfit would be willing to table an offer in the region of £32m in a bid to secure the services of the 28-year-old.
Herrera has fallen out of favour at Old Trafford this season having been a key player in Jose Mourinho’s debut campaign at United, starting just eight times in the Premier League so far this season.
The midfielder started 27 of 31 league appearances in 2016/17 and was one of the club’s most consistent performers as the Red Devils claimed EFL Cup and Europa League glory, earning their third highest WhoScored.com rating in the Premier League (7.36).
The signing of Nemanja Matic, however, has restricted his playing time significantly and a move away looks to be on the cards in the summer.
Milan are struggling to gel an entirely new team together this season but are still planning on adding to their ranks to regain their status as on of Italy’s top teams. Lucas Biglia has struggled to make the desired impact and Herrera could be seen as a like-for-like replacement for the 32-year-old.
