Arsenal star not interested in Barcelona move

Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin has again moved to quash suggestions he could re-join boyhood club Barcelona.

Bellerin, 21, has enjoyed an outstanding campaign at right-back for Arsenal and his performances have naturally seen him linked with a return to the Camp Nou.

The Spain Under-21 international, who finished third behind Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez in Arsenal’s Player of the Season award, is adamant he is happy in London and see’s the capital as his home now.

“I say every year that England is my home now,” Bellerin is quoted as saying by The Daily Mirror.

“I’ve lived there for many years; my family and my girlfriend are there. I’m very happy there and I don’t see myself anywhere other than Arsenal.”

Bellerin finished the campaign as the second highest rated right-back from those to have started at least 15 times in the position in the Premier League this season (7.20). Furthermore, no defender registered more assists in the 2015/16 league campaign than Bellerin (5).
