Juventus have confirmed Sampdoria forward Patrik Schick is undergoing his medical at the club ahead of a big money move to the Serie A champions.
Schick has been heavily linked with a move to Juventus all year after enjoying a breathtaking breakthrough campaign for Sampdoria in Serie A last season.
The 21-year-old has a €25m (£22m) release clause in his current Sampdoria deal but Juventus will pay €30m (£26.4m) after agreeing to split the payments over three years.
Schick arrived at the J|Medical centre this morning after returning from the U21 European Championships with the Czech Republic and Juventus have announced a formal announcement on the transfer will be made on Thursday afternoon.
Max Allegri will make a decision on whether to loan the youngster out for next season during pre-season and it has been reported that Sampdoria will have the first option if Juventus go down this route.
Of players that scored at least 10 goals in Serie A last season, only Sassuolo striker Gregoire Defrel (27.9%) had a better conversion rate than Schick (25.6%).
