Arsenal will bolster their striking options with the acquisition of Liverpool frontman Daniel Sturridge this summer, reports the Sunday Mirror.
Sturridge has made a superb return to form following injury and his performances have not gone unnoticed.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is a long-term admirer of the England international and is pondering a £30m move for the Reds ace with Wenger aware he needs to strengthen his attack line this summer.
The Arsenal manager has alternated between Danny Welbeck and Olivier Giroud as the lead striker in recent weeks to mixed effect, with Wenger now ready to bring in a new frontman to help fire the north London side to the Premier League title.
Sturridge, 26, penned a new five-year deal at Anfield in 2014, but Liverpool could be prepared to sell the striker should the right offer come in.
