Hugo Lloris says he does not expect to spend the rest of his career at Tottenham and his time at the club hinges on manager Mauricio Pochettino.
The France international has spent the last six years at Tottenham and his current deal will take him through until he is 35.
Lloris won the 2018 World Cup in the summer but was charged with drink driving at the start of September.
Mauricio Pochettino has stood by the veteran goalkeeper but Lloris has raised doubts over his long-term future at the club.
“I don’t think so,” Lloris told the London Evening Standard when asked if Tottenham will be his last club. “My future is tied to Mauricio’s. That is certain.”
Tottenham have done very well to keep the likes of Harry Kane, Christian Eriksen, Dele Alli and Jan Vertonghen on a tight wage structure when they could earn huge amounts of money elsewhere.
There is a feeling that Pochettino is the glue and that when he leaves the north London outfit will struggle to convince their best players to stick around.
Since the start of last season, only Asmir Begovic (7) and Petr Cech (6) have committed more errors leading to opposition goals than Lloris (5) in the Premier League.
