Leicester eye move for Ireland’s Euro hero

Leicester are planning a £7m bid for Norwich City full-back Robbie Brady, according to The Daily Mirror.

Brady, 24, has caught the eye of the Premier League champions after his performances at Euro 2016 with Ireland.

The Norwich defender scored the winner against Italy to put Ireland through to the knockout stage of the competition and also converted the penalty against France that gave them an early lead before losing 2-1 in the round of 16.

Brady still has two years remaining on his existing deal but is expected to be hot property this summer following Norwich’s relegation to the Championship and Leicester are the front runners to sign him.
