Liverpool have appointed former Borussia Dortmund manager Jürgen Klopp as their new manager.
Klopp, 48, left Dortmund at the end of last season after seven years with the club and had intended on taking a year out from the game.
However, the charismatic German has already called time on that after putting pen to paper on a three-year deal with the Premier League outfit.
"Liverpool football club are delighted to announce Jürgen Klopp has been appointed as the club's new manager" a statement read on the Reds' official website.
Liverpool are currently just inside the top 10, but are only three points off the top four after eight matches.
