Serie A side Bologna have expressed their interest in signing Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli.
Sampdoria have been strongly linked with a move for the out-of-favour Italian frontman, but look set to be rivalled by Bologna for his signature.
The Serie A returnees are keen to strengthen this summer following their promotion to Italy's top tier, but director of sport Pantaleo Corvino insists the deal must favour Bologna, financially.
"I would take him, he would be highly motivated here," he told Italian publication Corriere dello Sport.
"Of course, Bologna have to respect certain financial parameters, but for the right price I would even look at the possibility of buying him outright."
Balotelli, 24, disappointed for the Reds last season, netting just one league goal in 16 appearances in England's top tier.
