Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is looking to secure the services of Barcelona ace Neymar, reports AS.
The Brazil international has been in stunning form for his club this season, scoring more goals (14) than any other player in La Liga.
Madrid tried to sign Neymar two years ago when he was set to leave Santos, only for the player to choose Barcelona instead.
Perez has held a long standing interest in the 23-year-old since he broke onto the scene and the club could rekindle their interest in the attacker in January.
However, Barcelona are unlikely to sanction such a move, with the player himself admitting he is keen to sign a new contract at Camp Nou.

Why do you even post such fertilizer, dear Ben? It is obvious that he is not going to join Real in close future. What's next, Real after Messi? Busquets? Iniesta? I assume you have heard about rivalry between Real Madrid and Barca.
@Exti It is true that Barça and Real are intimate ennemies for a long time now however I have to partially disagree with by remembering you figo's case ! Still I don't think it'll be for this year that Neymar shall join Madrid !
@Exti site hits
@BenMcAleer1 My bad then, for some time I thought it was about at least remotely serious news.
