Liverpool readying second Salzburg raid

Liverpool are prepared to make a second Salzburg raid in six months as they target a move for Hungarian youngster Dominik Szoboszlai, reports Tuttosport via The Daily Mail.

The Reds secured the services of Takumi Minamino from the Austrian giants in January and while he hasn't made a sustained impact at Anfield, Liverpool were praised for the bargain buy of the Japanese attacker.

And Liverpool aren't looking to stop with Minamino in their recruitment drive with the Premier League leaders joining the race to sign Szoboszlai.

The 19-year-old is the hottest breakthrough Hungarian star in recent years and his performances haven't gone unnoticed on the continent.

Indeed, Liverpool would likely face competition from Premier League rivals Arsenal for Szoboszlai, while Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig, AC Milan and Lazio have all been credited with an interest in the Salzburg star.

Szoboszlai faced Liverpool both home and away in their Champions League group stage clashes this season, and across his five Champions League outings, he returned a WhoScored rating of 6.54.
