Manchester City struggling for suitors for Nasri

Manchester City are struggling to find any suitors interested in signing Samir Nasri after sticking a £10m valuation on his head, reports The Daily Telegraph.

The former France international has no future under Pep Guardiola but the club are struggling to offload him from their wage bill.

City have dismissed suggestions they would be willing to waiver his £185,000-a-week wages to tempt potential suitors, but that has made the task of selling Nasri even more difficult.

Nasri, who spent last season on loan at Sevilla, has two years remaining on his existing deal and that translates into nearly £18m in wages, while they are even hoping to command as much as £15m for the 30-year-old.

City are also waiting to find out the outcome of an ongoing UEFA investigation into whether Nasri broke doping regulations during his time at Sevilla and that has put a black mark against his name for any clubs remotely interested in his services.

Only Thiago Motta (94.8) averaged more passes per game than Nasri (93.6) in the Champions League last season.
