Juventus are readying a €40m move for Fiorentina sensation Federico Bernardeschi, according to Italian news outlet Violanews.com.
The 23-year-old has been on the radar of the champions for quite some time now, while Premier League pair Manchester United and Chelsea have previously been linked with a move for the Italian.
The Old Lady, however, are believed to be leading the race to sign Bernardeschi, though Fiorentina will command a top fee for the Italy U21 international.
Bernardeschi netted against Spain U21 on Tuesday night, though the Azzurrini were eliminated at the semi final stage having fallen to a 3-1 loss to the competition favourites.
The Italian’s versatility across the attack appeals to Juventus head coach Max Allegri, with Bernardeshi also capable of filling in at right wing-back.
Dani Alves has already departed and with Stephan Lichtsteiner and Juan Cuadrado linked with moves away from Juventus, Bernardeschi could be coming into to fill it at right wing-back.
Bernardeschi is keen on a move to Juventus and now both teams need to agree on a fee for the youngster.
