Tottenham are in advanced talks with Lile for Sofiane Boufal, according to Foot Mercato, via Get French Football.
Boufal, 22, has attracted a wave of interest from a variety of sides this season but Spurs are leading the race to sign the Morocco international.
With Champions League football on the horizon, Mauricio Pochettino will be looking to bolster his Tottenham squad to handle the added fixtures and they have reportedly tabled Boufal a five-year deal and are now trying to negotiate a fee with the Ligue 1 outfit.
Since the start of last season only Lucas Moura (175) has completed more dribbles in Ligue 1 than Boufal (162).
