Inter interested in Premier League star

Serie A league leaders Inter have stepped up their interest in Tottenham striker Harry Kane, according to the London Evening Standard.

Inter have reportedly sounded out Kane’s availability, as Roberto Mancini looks to restore the club among the European elite.

The former Manchester City manager is on course to lead Inter back into European competition for the first time in four years and the club would seemingly already be preparing for life back in the Champions League.

Kane, 22, only signed a new long-term £50,000-a-week deal with Spurs at the end of last season and is on course for improved terms if he can maintain his current form.

The England international began the season slowly but now has 10 goals in league and European competition for Spurs.

In fact, only eight players have scored more goals across Europe’s top five leagues in 2015 than Kane (24).
