Manchester City to listen to offers for Raheem Sterling

Manchester City will consider offers for Raheem Sterling this summer to fund mega-money moves for Harry Kane and Jack Grealish, claims The Daily Mirror.

Pep Guardiola's are looking to raise money through player sales as they prepare to spend in the region of £200m to land Kane and Grealish in the same window.

Sterling played a major role in England's run to the Euro 2020 final this summer but he dropped down the pecking order at City by the end of last season.

The 26-year-old finished 2020/21 with just one goal in 16 appearances in all competitions for City and has now entered the final two years of his current deal.

City would have to sell Sterling this summer to make the most of his transfer value unless they renew his contract.

Sterling has previously courted interest from Real Madrid but the Spanish side are currently focusing their efforts on signing Kylian Mbappe from Paris Saint-Germain.

Manchester United have also monitored Sterling's future in the past but having just signed Jadon Sancho are unlikely to make a move.

Sterling didn't have his best campaign last term but he did manage to score in every competition he participated in for club and country.
