Bundesliga outfit Frankfurt have confirmed they have reached an agreement with West Ham for the sale of star striker Sebastien Haller.
West ham have been locked in talks with Frankfurt for the last week after missing out on top transfer target Maxi Gomez to Valencia.
Manuel Pellegrini’s side are on the market for a new striker following Marko Arnautovic’s move to China earlier this month.
West Ham have now agreed a club-record deal worth a reported £45m with Frankfurt and have also struck personal terms with the 25-year-old.
Haller will now jet in for his West Ham medical before finalising a big money move to the Premier League.
The former France Under-21 international has spent the last two years at Frankfurt and was a revelation for the German side last season.
Haller played a direct hand in 24 goals in 29 league appearances for Frankfurt (15 goals, nine assists) and finished as the WhoScored Player of the Tournament in the Europa League (7.72).
Not only that, but Haller won more aerial duels than any other player in the Bundesliga in 2018/19 (201).
